Arithmetic up through Calculus
From the start, back in 2002, I began Math Tutoring at all High School levels up through Calculus. Then through parental demand, I have expanded to work with kids at both the Elementary and Middle School levels, focusing on foundational skills and concepts that kids need to operate at the higher levels. And at the higher end, I have worked with a number of beginning College students.
Chemistry and Physics
The High School science subjects of Chemistry and Physics are new and challenging to many students, and thus, I have developed an expertise in helping students learn the concepts and techniques necessary to be successful in those subjects up through the AP level, and the College Freshman levels. I also help younger students with Earth science and the basic science concepts taught in Elementary and Middle school.
Java, Javascript, Python, projects
I've had a long career in Computer Software engineering, and have deep knowledge in a variety of Computer Science topics and Programming languages and applications. I can provide a solid introduction to Computer Programming for any level of student that would like to begin or continue learning Computer Programming.

The Business Parts of the Tutoring
Tutoring Locations
In-Person or Online
In-Person Tutoring is available for students that are in the Denver, Colorado Metro area. Meeting in my home, at your home, or at some alternate location like a library or a school or a cafe are all options. My travel time will count towards the session time, so keep that in mind.

OnLine Tutoring is always available for students that are far away from my tutoring home, or who find online tutoring to be a convenient, efficient, and preferred method for a tutoring session. We use common devices and software that most everyone has as well as free video conferencing software.

Rates and Payments

Rates:
My standard rate for tutoring is $50/hour, pro-rated based on time spent.
Payments:
There are a variety of payment timings:
At the time of session service is the preferred payment timing.

Alternatively, a pre-paid purchase of a package of sessions can be arranged.
Finally, payment can be deferred into a monthly invoice for later payment if there is a long term customer commitment.

Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Cash App, Square are all accepted electronic payment methods. Personal Check , Cash, Credit Card are other options.

Scheduling & Calendars

There is an online tutoring calendar in the website where parents and students can schedule sessions for a variety of possible durations (30, 45, 60, 90 minutes). Click the "Book Online" top level menu item to get to the booking calendar.

Personal Request
Parents or students can always communicate with me directly for scheduling if the online calendar doesn't work for them.

Parent/Student Login
Also parents and students can setup their own login where they can see their scheduled sessions, and make payments.

ABOUT ME, THE TUTOR
Dana Wunderlich
Since 2002, I have been tutoring students in Math and Science from grades 2 through high school and into early college. I have worked with approximately 300 students from the Southmoor Park neighborhood and all over the metro Denver area and beyond via the internet. From basic arithmetic through AP calculus and AP physics, as well as test prep for both the ACT and SAT. I enjoy helping kids "get it" and acheive success. I can meet with your student at my home, your home, a library or coffee shop, or over the internet.

My professional background has been as a Software Engineer for over 4 decades. For the last 20 years I have worked on Advanced Manufacturing Scheduling algorithms and data modeling using Artificial Intelligence techniques. I retired at the end of 2017 and can now devote full time to tutoring.
